Legal notice from Bank while i pay EMIs

Hi, I had taken a personal loan from Axis Bank in 2018 for the amount of Rs.526705 and current outstanding is Rs.298670. It is for 66 months, balance on app shows 31 months with ROI of 11.99. Current EMI is Rs.10541 with due date 10th of every month. Due to pandemic, during the first wave, i was jobless but still wait trying by best to pay the EMIs. As a result Rs.22000 became overdues and i got the first legal notice this Jul 2021. Now i have a job but moved cities for the same. Reside in Bangalore. I took it seriously and met with the recovery department. The bank representative informed me to pay one more EMI and it will be sorted. I managed from my current job salary and paid an extra EMI in July. Sent the details to the bank representative(whatsapp) and the lawyer(email) with no response. Current overdues has reduced to Rs.11910 and i have been paying every month since more than 6 months now BUT not on due date as salary comes by 15th. So i pay 5 days after the due date but i pay every month. I have tried several times to mail the bank but there is no email ID, sent them direct messaged on twitter with no resolution and their phone number is never reachable. Today my family back home gets another notice for arbitration in respect to recalling the loan. Now i am confused if i am paying every month and reducing the overdues as well then why am i being mentally harassed like this. I want to just concentrate on my job and pay all my dues asap. Is the bank allowed to recall and take the legal course even if the customer is paying every month? I would love to get back at them for harassing my family and me with legal notices and recovery calls but I hardly have the time or money to survive in a new city living on my own. Request some advice on how to take this forward. Thank you.
