Your legal advise please
In a private e commerce company , company has issued appoint ment and will give me training for four months with very small salary.
It has written that you will have to work for 12 months minimum with the company.
Following are my objects in the appointment letter for which i seek your advise:
1. I have to give 2 months minimum notice to company and work for two months( and I can not pay in lieu of it). Company can terminate my contract with one month notice or equivalent compensation.
2. Salary after training is not mentioned.
3. For minimum one year after termination of my service with the company, I can not join any company which directly or indirectly competes with their line of business.
4. That i can not undertake any work from any client for next 2 years after employment contarct termination.
5. They want to sign company proprietary information agreement.
I seek your advise .
Is it legal ?
I may loose this job if i donot sign. What about the legality of such clauses in the appointment letter?
