Blockage of Access to municipal road
I am having a property which borders a municipal road. We are having this property since 1977..its a land property of 50cents.it is situated in a residential housing colony . Now I have access to my property through another road also. This road wasn't used because there was 4 feet difference between the edge of the municipal road and my property which is lower. Now I plan to build a ramp like road so I can access this road since the current road to my property is a private road and this one municipal road. There was wall constructed by the association telling my father that there used to be burglary issue in the colony and the thieves used to jump through my property and escape since we werent staying there and it was vacant land we agreed to affix a wall. They said they would open it as and when we plan to use the road. Now they are saying they won't give permission to break wall etc. The funny part is the municipal road edge is where they have blocked and this road ends where my property begins and where they have made this wall. Through RTI I have come to know municipality is maintaining this road since years thereby making this a public road. So my doubt here is when I make the ramp can I break this wall and start using the road .
