Ambiguous Termination and Notice Period Clause
I worked at a company for 5 month, after which i intimated the company of my resignation. I was never given a physical copy of my Offer Letter but all the terms are recorded over email. There is a clear ambiguity in the clauses and I do not believe that there is a termination and/ or notice period clause . Please see below , the main clauses of the offer letter:
"Probation Period: This job offer has a three-month probation period where both you and the company will work together to evaluate if this is a successful working arrangement for both parties. During the probation period, your compensation will be as described above and either party can choose to terminate this working arrangement with a three-day intimation
Additional Information: Please note that your acceptance of this offer indicates you can join in a 60 days notice period upon confirmation and the standard working schedule/commitments as shared with you during your interview. This offer is subject to standard background/reference check processes and submission of copies of all requested certificates, experience letters and other documents that the company might require."
Please advise whether I am liable to serve notice to the company, in the absence of a termination clause, because the company has asked me to serve notice of 2 months or pay against it?
