Termination from Job by UK Company
Dear Siddharth,
i work in a UK company having a fully owned subsidiary in India and I have been terminated from my Job unfairly under conspiracy of the executives on frivolous ground of not speaking fluent English which i feel is discrematory and also due to the financial condition of the company, initially they were not even offering any severance package after fighting back they have agreed to offer the severance package with below wordings
Retrenchment Compensation
With reservation of all our rights and although we do not believe you are a workman based on your seniority and income (and nothing stated herein should be treated as an admission to such effect), we will be voluntarily remitting to you, an amount equal to retrenchment compensation for your number of years’ of service.
i have spent approx. 4.5 years thus above compensation will not be enough in the covid era , i wish to have fair retrenchment and also my big concern is the stigma which come with termination , i want to pressurize them to convert the termination into retrenchment with agreement to give me good referrals to secure my future
pls help guide me , i am open to fight in the courts for fair compensation and full justice
