Company having a notice period of 60 days but I want to serve only 30 days
Hi,
I have joined an organisation 2 years back and now i want to leave that company were according to agreement I have to serve 2 months of notice period but I want to serve 1 month notice period only.
Things mentioned in agreement-
Notice Period- Written notice or notice pay in lieu of notice is required by either party to terminate this contract. The employer is also entitled to terminate the contract by giving notice as per the company policy or notice pay lieu of notice as defined by the company in event of dismissal or redundancy, As per the policy notice period applicable is as below-
On confirmation- 2 months of notice or notice pay in lieu of notice can be given by the either parties.
Termination- 1) Your employment will continue until termination in accordance with the terms of this agreement, your retirement or death whichever is early.
2) The company has the right to terminate your services by giving notice or (basic salary) in lieu as per the notice period clause above without assigning any record thereof.
Please help me in this as i can only serve 1 month notice period and what are the legal actions basis these clause as my management said if i don't complete my notice period they will terminate me or absconed. They are also not reverting on my mail and they denied to put this termination thing on mail as well.
