Full & Final Statement does not include Leave salary due to Covid 19

Hi Sir, This is regarding no leave encashment policy communicated to me during my LWD. I was informed that my accumulated privilege leave will be lapsed & won’t be encashed during as a part of full n final settlement. My PL at the time of resignation is 33 days. I have resigned on 7th Sept, 2020 and served a full 90 days notice period. Till the date of my LWD I was billable resource i.e. working on project. During the exit interview I was informed about no Leave Encashment as per Employee Handbook, I went through Employee HandBook V1.8 uploaded. In section 10 Exit and Separation Process point no 10.8 Full and Final settlement page no 51 It is mentioned that, In the full and Final settlement all employee benefits such as Leave salary, gratuity (if applicable), medical reimbursement or any other amount due to an employee over and above his/her salary would be calculated. There is nothing mentioned about No leave encashment in the employee handbook 2020 V1.8. Request to help and guide me in this situation. Thank you & regards,
