Change Place of Birth in passport

Hi, I had my passport for 10 years now. As Passport office had not asked for Place of birth proof since then, I had put a town name in Andhra Pradesh. Recently I got my DOB certificate from my original birth place in Karnataka. Now as per passport office, I have to submit First class judicial magistrate's /Sub-divisional magistrate's (civil court) court order if change in place of birth involves change of State. Now My questions are as below. 1. Where should I apply for court order? From the place which is currently mentioned in my passport, which is wrong place of birth? or from the place where my original Birth certificate issued which i am planning to add in passport with the help of court order? 2. How many days it takes to get the court order? 3. For place of birth mentioned in my passport, I have no proof at all except my SSC[10th class] certificate, which only states date of birth. Will be there any problem for applying court order for this? If so what should I do? 4. There is no change in Date of birth. So will this make court order process easy? Thank you.
