Drivezy vehicle cheating

I rented a car in dervizy ,the car was not in condition I told the hub guy,that person assured me that the car is proper . later I asked him can we go out off Karnataka for that to he assured me and there was some sound coming in breaks he told me that the cars down steel is rusted if you drive it will become proper ,I beleived him and took the vehicle,will travelling the sound was just increasing and suddenly while we were returning to Bangalore we were going in highway at 100 speed suddenly we noticed that there is no break in the vehicle since the person who was driving was little experienced he some how stopped the vehicle and called the coustomer care for nearly 1 hour no one responded the hub guy also dint give any response so I towed the vehicle and came to Bangalore the tow person charged me 6k and I left the vehicle near by my home on 2am night and went to my home morning the hub person insisted to give the car from were we took I again towed the vehicle that costed me 3k,now the hub manager is treataning me that if you don't pay the charges off the car I will take legal action now what should I do The bill for break failure repair in car was 20k and extra money for km driven
