Civil accident case

I have sold my car 15 years ago after selling the car later six years I have received a court notice about an accident which was committed by my friends father whom I have sold the car to. Unfortunately they didn't transfer the RC on their name and I'm not aware about this. From year 2010 onwards I have roaming to and from to the court with all due respects to the law and court. Despite 10 years roaming around court judgment came that I have to pay 2,10,000/- plus ROI from 2010 despite my vehicle had insurance (copy also produced). I wonder why we'll pay insurance and moreover I was made respondent 1 instead insurance company. Currently I am jobless since 15 months and have family along with aged parents and 2 kids. Anyone Kindly help how to proceed further as already I have shelled out valuable time of ten years still it's not concluded. Secondly my father gave 25000/- rupees for my kids future. If I put this amount in the bank will court recover I do not know. Kindly suggest your opinion on this as well as of now I'm ready to go accept whatever it takes but I don't have money to repay that person who met with accident. For me as of now no job nothing how can I secure my kids future is a big question mark. Those parties already claimed some amount from my friend's father and now can claim from insurance company right why are they running behind me it's almost ten years. Case is not solved yet.
