Withdrawn recoginition of university at a later point than my course
I am a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Applied Arts Degree holder from Karnataka State Open University, Completed in 2011 with first-class also obtained all the certificates in time.
Now I have an opportunity to join a company abroad requires a transcript from the university. When I applied this, it seems to have difficulty for the university (KSOU) to issue transcripts due to disapproval of UGC
KSOU replied to me as below. ----------------------------
The University Grants Commission has withdrawn the recognition of the programmes offered by the University through the academic collaborators in open and distance learning (ODL) mode with retrospective effect from the academic years 2013-14 and 2014-15 vide Public Notice: F.No:UGC/DEB/8/KSOU/1/2015 dated: [deleted].
As per the MOU entered between this University and Academic collaborator Institute, it was their duty to obtain the approval of AICTE, which is the apex body for according permission to offer technical courses. But, they did not do so. It is a lapse on the part of the said Academic Collaborator Institute. If you submit above said approval letter from the AICTE by your collaborative institution, your application will be processed as per University policy.
University has terminated the MOU’s of all the Academic Collaborator Institutes as Public Notice: KSOU/AB/EST-01/236/2011-12 dated:[deleted].
Under the circumstance explained above, this University express its inability to process your application as requested by you. This is for your information.
---------------------
In this case, I want to claim that the university had the approval when I studied and they lost at a later point so, should I be getting my transcripts.
