Hello sir/ madam, I am Tej Singh and I have a housing loan account HOU/H.....with your Haridwar branch. As per RBI guidelines please clarify the following points regarding my loan. 1. The above-mentioned loan was sanctioned in the month of Nov 2018 and the check was printed in Nov 2018. but the check was not handed over to the party and the interest amount is started without any intimation of the check collection. 2. The advocate handed over the check to the party in the month Feb 2019 and was realised after that. but the interest was charged for all the months even the check was not handed over to the party. How the interest can be charged without intimation of check and without realisation of check to the concerned party? As per RBI guidelines the interest can be collected after the realization of check or if the check is handed over to the party which was not done in my case. I request you to please refund the interest amount which was collected for the months of Nov 2018 to Feb 2019. It is also requested to provide me the loan interest and principal statement for the above said loan in detail. Please do the needful. i will be very thankful to you. Loan amount of Rs. 24.84 lakhs has been sanctioned and disbursed to you, basis your specific request in November 2018 2. The loan disbursement has been made upon your request and on the date as selected by you. 3. As and when the registry was scheduled, the necessary transaction was completed from our end. We were, during these two months, i.e. November 2018 – January 2019 not intimated of a delay. 4. Further, we see from our records that your loan account has been closed and the original property papers have been handed over to your kind self in July 2020. Also, the loan closure has been done post your agreement on the total outstanding to be paid.
