School not responding on termination

My daughter was studying in 9th std in a private school And due to this covid -19 examination were not held and the chief minister ordered to promote all students So all of them started 10th std classes online . It was going on for a month and then suddenly the school removed exact 5 Students from a each classroom in whole batch and made the strength to 40 per class ( there is any rule they cannot keep more than 40 students im not sure but have heard from many) Not its been more than three days we have went even to school ,they are not letting us in and has asked the class teacher she is saying she is not aware of the reason . The coordinator and principle have said to remove these 5 Students And still the reason is unknown and the Watchmen at the gate is not letting us in and saying you will be informed later why your child is removed from online class batch and whatsapp group of X B, after a month of conducting online classes . My child has got a rank in last exam conducted 28th rank /total students -45 Now the child is mentally getting sick coz she doesn't know the reason why they removed Would they kick out of school ? Or say to sit back in 9th std ? ,Though cm ordered to promote all What can I do legally ,do I have any rights I can go against school legally
