Limitation for suit for recovery of money basing on a bounced cheque?

I am a junior counsel, I have filed a cheque bounce case U/Sec 138 NIAct and obtained certified copy of the cheque, and filed a civil suit for recovery of money on 06.02.2020 and it is registered. In the pleading i have mentioned that, "The defendant requested the plaintiff for a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- in the month of January 2017, the plaintiff advanced the same, and after several demands defendant issued cheque on 15.03.2019 and it was bounced and a cheque bounce case if filed and is pending, on 02.02.2020 both the plaintiff and the defendant as complainant and accused appeared in the cheque bounce case, but to settle the matter amicably, the plaintiff demanded the defendant to repay the suit amount covered under the cheque, but the defendant did not pay any heed to the plaintiff, so the present suit. cause of action arose on 15.03.2019 when cheque was issued, and on 02.02.2020 when the defendant refused to pay suit amount" point is it is pleaded that defendant requested for money in the month of January 2017 and the plaintiff paid the same, cheque date is 15.03.2019 and demand for payment is made on 02.02.2020, Question is my suit time barred by one month if January 2017 is considered? or Within limitation if calculated from 15.03.2019 to 02.02.2020? please help me
