Absconding without serving the notice period
Hi,
I have joined Teleperformace on 20/12/2019, as a non-voice associate, but in semi skilled, where I may have to take calls often. In training period we all took calls, so am I. But after hitting the production floor, at first, I have heard that I have to work on a full night shift (10pm - 7am). When I asked it would not be possible for me as I have a 9 months old baby, the trainer used abusive language and shouted at me asking if I have done the night shift till the time. After this, they asked me to take calls for 3 hours, where some of the team members are not taking calls. In the first day I took calls. But from 2nd day I raised voice that why everyone is not taking calls if it is necessary. After this, I have been called by the assistant manager in front of the floor and he made me cry in front of everyone because he forced me to go to the hr to leave the process and join somewhere else where I don't have to take calls. I had gone to the hr, but they didn't want to know anything, rather they asked me to serve the notice period and asked me if I have problem with someone, I had to take him with me, only then they will have a discussion on the topic. I have immediately ran from the place on 19/02/2020.
On 23/02/2020 I received a call from the bhr of the company. She asked me to give the id card and a device called "gemalto". I told I would give the same within 2-3 days. After this the lady told me if I am not serving the notice, they mark me as "abscond". I said ok on the call. After this, I had a doubt about the 19 days salary, so I called the same number 6-7 times. But no one answered.
So my question is what action can they take against me and will I get my 19 days salary???
