Deficiency after surrender of car

I had taken car loan from Kotak Mahindra Prime Limited . I could not pay the installments regularly and the finance company repossessed the car after taking orders from High Court. They made me sign surrender forms. They did not take any pictures while taking possession of the car, which is mandatory. After a few days I visited their office and told them that I have 2-3 customers ready for the car who are ready to pay around Rs.5-5.5 lacs for the car. But the finance company people told me to get out and that they will sell the car only through auction. I am afraid that they will sell the car at less price and sue me for deficiency. What legal options do I have in this matter ?
