Complication in name change after marriage

I am a Muslim girl. I was married in Arya Samaj to a Hindu boy. So they converted my religion first and gave me a hindu vaidic name. Hence, the marriage certificate they gave has the new vaidic name for me. But, I want to keep my original first name and just change my surname. The marriage registration remains due and is very important for us to do. Problem is that my husband who is an army officer, made all his army papers for me with that new name only because of the certificate given by the Arya Samaj. Now, we need to change those papers also, keeping the original first name and just changing the last name using the new documents that I want to make through your help. If we register the marriage using the Arya Samaj certificate then it will have the incorrect first name and if I just change my surname regardless of that certificate then it won’t be a sufficient valid proof that these two names are reffered to the same person that my husband can use in his organisation to make the desired changes in his papers. What is the shortest path to do this. Please help
