Mismatch in date of birth in My current company and other outside records

HI Team, My current occupation is service and working for an MNC. I have a typical problem where in my date of birth in my current company is mentioned as 1972, for which i provided my 10th mark list as proof. My date of birth on birth certificate is 1973. This birth certificate was provided as proof for PAN card, Adhar card and now for NPS account. Since last 2 months my company stopped submitting NPS amount to NPS account as they got instruction from NPS that there is mismatch in dates in company records and NPS records. My company has send me an email saying correct the date of birth either at company records or at NSDL. I have doubt/fear that if i initiate the change in date of birth in company records then whether they will consider it as fraud done from my side and they may take some legal action like terminating my employment. I guess NSDL asks only PAN and Adhar as proof so probably i cannot change the date there. So i am in dilema what to do. Please suggest me what should be my approach.
