Complain regarding not conducting fair screening/shortlisting of candidates for the recruitment of
Dear Sir,
This is Amit Ranjan, former contractual employee of National Research Development Corporation, New Delhi, sir I was working with NRDC from 05/02/2015 to 05/02/2019 in contractual basis as Engineer-Mechanical in Business Development Division. I want to draw your kind attention towards the incident took place at NRDC during screening/shortlisting of applicants for the position of Manager-IP & TT and Assistant Development Engineer (ADE) for the recruitment advertisement flagged on 12/01/2019.
Sir, I joined NRDC in Business Development Division on 05/02/2015 under Sh. D. C. Joshi, Chief Business Development, after 3 months I got transferred to CMD Secretariat on 01/05/2015. From that day till my last day of service I was in working in CMD Secretariat under guidance of Dr.H.Purushotham.
I was working as per the directions and guidance given by CMD NRDC and due to my skills and performance which I had shown to organization, I had been given many responsibilities such as, Co-coordinator for NRDC North Eastern Cell, Guwahati, Coordinator for Incubation Centre to be established with CSIR Labs, Technology Evaluation Committee Member of CSIR-SERC, Chennai, Coordinator of Atal Incubation Centre and Additional Charge of Manager-IP & TT.
I had never asked for any benefit from corporation and I was working with my best of honesty and hard work, everywhere CMD also use to appraise my name due to my performance and way of working. From last 04 years I was being assured by CMD that I will be regularized in corporation, due to that I was working with full honesty and hardwork.
On 22nd January 2019 suddenly I being called to CMD office and without assigning any reason told to resign, I refuse to do so then I was threatened that if I will not resign then they will terminate my service and spoil my career as well. Fearing of that I resigned from my position of Engineer-Mechanical in Corporation. After my resigning also CMD has assured me that in the regular advertisement where I had applied for the position of Manager-IP & TT, they will shortlist me and will allow to me appear in interview as I am holding the requisite experience.
Sir now the case started when a screening committee consists of Shri D.C.Joshi, Mrs. Manjulika Otto, Shri A.Pradhan, Shri S.Chawla, Shri R.K.Nangia, Shri Anoop Singh & Shri Gurcharan Singh met for screening/shortlisting of 71 applications received for the position of Manager-IP & TT under the advertisement flagged for recruitment in regular position in the organization. As I was eligible in all front so I had applied for this position. But suddenly when my name comes on the screen Shri D.C.Joshi reacted in such a way and passed a statement “this boy was diplomatically told to resign”. And marked “Not relevant experience” on my application. Sir, I just want to ask a single thing that if I was not holding relevant experience then how an additional charge for the same position was given to me. And also I want to ask
