Bond Signed with company
Hello Sir/Madam,
I have a question regarding my bond signed while joined MNC company in Pune.
I signed a bond with the company in July 2014 for 3 years and there was a clause mentioned in my offer letter that if I break a bond or if I want to resign company within 3 years from the date of bond signed I have to pay 2 lakhs of bond penalty. Later in September 2016 I resigned from the company, I served 3 months notice period and I paid 2 lakhs of bond penalty by DD to Company on the last working day that is on 4th November of 2016. I followed all the procedure and left the company legally. I did this because I wanted my work experience letter and certificates.
Now the problem is one of my colleagues who joined the company by signing the same bond with the same terms and conditions. But He/She left the company without paying the bond penalty in 2014. The company did not give her any work experience letter and certificate as she did not paid the bond penalty.
But after 2,3 years company sent him/her work experience letter and certificates even though he/she did not pay a bond amount.
What legal action can I take against the company for unfair behavior with me or charging me a huge amount?
It will be very helpful if anybody can suggest what am I suppose to do legally with the company.
