Non acceptance on resignation
I am a central government employee who has submitted my resignation in the month of JAn 2019 owing to personal reasons. For resignation, we in central government has a one month notice.. IT is learnt from reliable sources that my immediate superior authority through whom the resignation letter has to be routed to my appointing authority has remarked that the resignation is not recommended on administrative grounds. I have no vigilance enquiry pending or contemplated against me. I have always been prompt in attending to my duties. In spite of this, my resignation is being not recommended for want of a replacement owing to acute staff shortage.. It has already been over one and a half month since the resignation was submitted. I have yet to get any reply from my appointing authority. I am ready to wait till March 31st as my absence would affect my colleagues as they will be given addtional burden of my sub division. But I cannot stretch it further due to personal issues at home. How do I proceed further. How long shall i wait for the reply. If the reply is in negative, should i resubmit my resignation. Kindly guide me.
