Parts delayed in my car due to this fail sub system
Sir, my car was face ABS sensor failure on Aug 18 with so many sub system warnings and steering tightness because of the sensor failure. I went to the service center to rectify this. After the snag analysis the service adviser told me that the all four ABS sensor was faulty and need to change it. I accepted, at the same time they place the order and told to me that it will take approximate 14 days to deliver the parts. But till October I didn’t get any call from service center and I went to service center for further query on 09 Oct 18 and they place fresh order Again and told to me that parts will come on next Tuesday. I wait till November 18 after that I launch a complaints to customer care as well as in Consumer forums. After that I got a positive replay form the service center. I am working in Pune so went to the service center on my next leave which was on 19 Jan 19. All four sensors where replaced and all subsequent warnings are goes off. But after the delivery I felt that the steering complaint was not gone and I went to the service center again regarding this. They inspected the car and found steering tight still persists. After the sang analysis they found that the tightness was due to steering column and its need to change will take approx. Rs.60,000. The steering column is controlled by ABS sensor so I claimed that the fault was due to delay in parts so I need to rectify it free of cost. But they denied. The service manager told me that there is no record found in there system regarding part delay and claiming that no tightness present in steering.
Can I file a case in Consumer court regarding this issue for compensation? If Yes ,how much I will get as a compensation? What is the procedure to file a case in consumer court? Is the evidence mentioned below is sufficient to win a case?
