Recruitment process

Respected sir, I ,applied for Deputy range forest officer(drfo)(reg.no.401055).I have passed all the tests like physical test ,written test , document verification and medical test for the drfo post. In the final list they have dropped my name giving reason that marks I have given in the application and marks of my degree are varied. My explanation:1) I have given the marks of core subjects only (physics, chemistry, mathematics)that is 94.5%.while I should have given the marks including Kannada and English languages also,that is(92.58%).But I have given the marks as per my university marks card where they have mentioned my grand total marks as 94.5%. 2)before first test that is physical test when they published the 1:20 list of eligible candidates for physical test ,they have asked for any claims then I have claimed that I have varied marks like this and consider the appropriate marks. Afterwards they have allowed me for all the required tests and I have passed all the tests.I am also within cutoff that is 3B category is 66.74 and cut off of General merit is 67.55 and I secured 71.29. What does law says in such cases?
