Import of adult toy from a global website.

Hello, I ordered an adult toy from a global Chinese e-commerce website in November, 2018. It was intended for personal use only and not for reselling. Yesterday i received a notice from FPO that they have held my parcel stating that it is illegal to import adult toys in India. Honestly, i was 100% unaware that it is illegal to import adult toys in India and thought that if the websites are selling to Indians then it might be ok to order. Now that i have been served a notice i want to know the best course of action for me. Should i provide the proofs that they are demanding viz transaction copy, payment copy and identification copy duly self certified and say that i was unaware about the law and i am ready to the parcel being confiscated by them. Or should i absolutely deny that i never ordered any such item and let the parcel be confiscated. Now that i have learned of the toy being illegal to import, i don't want anything to do with it. So can i claim that i haven't ordered it and get rid of it without getting penalized? Would the customs go to such extent as to retrieving the IP address of the connection from which the toy was ordered and the credit card details for a 500 Rs toy ? What is the best course in your opinion? In conclusion, all i want to say is that i don't want the toy now. I would be happy to get rid of this issue at the least possible expense.
