Can I take legal actions against my company for the below written incident?

I recently started working in a well reputed skin clinic as a beauty therapist .And I was late 1 day so the doctor present told me that as punishment I would have to perform a procedure that's known as fat freeze i was under the impression that it was cause I was late that's why I was supposed to do it .the procedure was not properly explained to me and it was told to cause pain and swelling which will last a few days. I was told to perform my duites that day after the procedure even in immense pain cause I was being paid by the company to do my job and not just sit. The next day the swelling was really bad and pain unbearable I msg the manager that I won't b able to come to work as I fear travelling in the train in my condition I was told to take painkillers and go to work.I took a week off and told her im in a lot of pain send her images of the swelling she gave me painkillers and anti-inflammatory as the pain and swelling was still the same after a week also I decided to visit a local physician and was told the area was slightly infected and was given medication and the pain and swelling came under control .the manger threatened me to come to work or she will remove me from the company .after my aunty shouting at her for treating me this way and telling her about the doctors visit she started saying many people have done this procedure and swelling and pain is normal as I am young I feel it a little more and that I should have visited the clinic doctors for help.can ther be any legal action I can take against them cause I had to miss work for more than two weeks and had to spend money at the doctors .And had to undergo that horrible pain...
