Notice Period
Hi All,
As per company norms i have to serve the notice period of 60 days, but due to some major family problems i was not able to continue job because i have to leave my job on immediate basis, but they refused to leave me on urgent i have to serve the 30 days minimum notice period,but i was not in the condition to serve the notice period so they asked me to take 2 months (Leave Without Pay) and asked me to join the office in november but i told them if all the things will be good so i will join the office again,if not then i won't be able to continue my job.They said that if i will join the office by november then its ok if not then i have to pay them 1 month salary and they asked me to put this on mail so i did that because of the urgency ... but still the problems are not resolved and financial conditions are also not well.. but they are asking either to join or pay the one month salary.
Is there something that can be done to avoid the same? If not then if i will be paying them one month salary so i have to pay full salary or just basic pay?? Please help me out on urgent basis.
