The school is asking me to pay the fee for an entirely year for the tc

Dear Sir /Ma’am During the finals exams of my 11th grade I was asked to sit for a retest on a particular subject for my promotion , after a few days of the retest paper I got a call from the HOD and the teacher of that particalr subject I failed in (Chemistry)and he said that I was to join school immediately as the paper had been cleared.I went to school (12thgrade)roughly for a week when the school told me that I had been detained when I asked the teacher how could I be detained now that he had already told me to join school, he simply denied by saying that he only told me to come to school if I was confident about it (which he clearly didn’t ) so my parents decided I change schools so I filed for a TC , they said that I might have to clear the fee for the whole annual school year but I denied saying that if it weren’t for the teacher that misled me in The first place I wouldn’t be here and that It’s unacceptable of me to pay the price for it . The school said that they’d talk to the management and further notify me on the Tc , which they haven’t done till now .
