Do I have a leg to stand on? Car

Hello, I would just like to know how to take this further. I put my car into a garage for a month whilst out of the country for some work - the car wasn't damaged, it just needed brightening up and a few small jobs done. After agreeing on a price (72,000inr) I went away expecting my car to be ready. It wasn't ready for 2 months after the agreed date, we also had to pay to hire a car (another 30,000inr) and he wanted more money from us - another 10,000inr. When we got the car back it was clear that it wasn't right, the battery (which was fine before kept going) and I now have to get out in busy traffic to jump start the car. Deciding it would be better to go to another garage I put it in and asked them to check work had been done. Feedback from the garage stated that NOTHING, apart from a paint job and chair covers had been done. In fact, he hadn't rewired the car properly and had put the engine back incorrectly. The car is now in such a mess it needs to be scrapped and we need to buy a new one! I must also add that he also stole my spare tyre from the boot. Is there anything I can do about this? Surely it is fraud?
