NOC from tenant for home loan

Hello, I have applied for home loan from DHFL. They have evaluated the property and its papers. Now they are asking for NOC from tenant. Is it required? The NOC format is as below:- To, DHFL Sir, Sub:- NOC from Tenant Mr. ...............s/o...................r/o ..................with respect to the mortgage of the property bearing no. ..................................(address of property). 1. This is to confirm that I, Mr......................is the tenant of the property. 2. That owner Mr. ......................(current property owner) approached DHFL to avail loan against property by way of depositing all original title documents with respect to said property with DHFL and as a security of loan against said property DHFL agrees to advance the loan as per its policy. 3. That I further express no objection by this letter to DHFL for sale/mortgage of said property, etc. 4. That I further express that I will keep paying/deposit the rent in the account bearing no. ........of Mr..........held with bank .....................as decided and will inform DHFL if the request is made to change the account of the owner.
