Disputed Car sold by dealer hiding the facts due to which ownership could not be transferred

I have purchased a used car from a car dealer in delhi. At the time of sale he informed me that the payments to be made in his firm's name since he had paid the amount to the registered owner. I asked him for NOC from registered owner mentioning that the amount can be paid to the dealer but he did not provide the same even after multiple reminders. He said that I will provide the NOC in few days. And he also assured me that he will get the car transferred in my name since he is selling the car. Since I had already paid the token amount of Rs 50000 I had to pay the entire amount and taken the delivery of the vehicle. Subsequently I followed up with him to know the status of RC transfer but he did not give any clear response saying that it will be done in next few days. After one month when I strongly questioned him the reason for delay then I came to know that this car is disputed between Leaseplan India (Lessor) and Engineers India Limited (Lessee) who is the registered owner of the vehicle. Subsequently it was identified that the dealer sold this vehicle without having signatures from the seller. Actually the dealer purchased it from Lessor (Leaseplan India) and due to some dispute between them the Lessee (registered owner) is not signing the sale letter. I have paid the entire amount in the dealer's account. My car's ownership transfer is pending since last 2 months. Im carrying huge risk while driving this vehicle on road without ownership. Please suggest what should I do now
