Recruitment Rules
At present we are looking at proposal of promotion of MTS to LDC on the basis of Departmental Qualifying Exam (DQE) which was held in 2012(17.6.2012). Subsequently recruitment rules have been revised w.e.f 06/07/2012. After revision of RR’s two changes have taken place:-
a) Education qualification from Matriculation to 12th Class and eligibility service has been reduced from 5 years to three years.
b) Method of recruitment has been modified as under

As per Note (b) in the SCHEDULE of Recruitment Rules below column 11
(iii) 5 % of the vacancies in each of the region shall be filled up on the basis of Departmental Qualifying Examination from amongst the group D staff who posses Matriculation or equivalent qualification and have rendered 5 years regular service in Grade ‘D’. The maximum age limit for eligibility for examination is 45 years(50 years for candidates belonging to the scheduled caste/ the scheduled tribe.)
Note: If more of such employees than number of vacancies available qualified in the examination, such excess number of employees shall be considered for filling vacancies arising in the subsequent years so that the employees qualifying at an earlier examination are considered before those who qualify at a later examination.
As per modified RR qualification has been changed to 12th class and minimum service to three years instead of 5 years
Can candidates qualified earlier and having qualification 10th be promoted to the post under new RR.
