Dear Sir, I deal in automotive spares as distributors, For this work I need Field Representatives (FR) to visit various shops for orders and collection. I had recruited one person from old distributor as I expected him to have experience and will do justice in marketing of the product. It was an informal chat and he was given the task of doubling my sales from his experience, after achieving the said levels I had promised him increments. But this person did not deliver as committed and later (within 15 days) I got to know he was immobile as he did not know how to ride the bike so i gave him another person who use to take him to the markets and do good for my company. As we are distributors we had the monthly targets from our parent company but he was not performing to expectation, was (1) inobedient as every evening he was suppose to give me reports of his work done, which he did not give, (2)would sell the material to shopkeepers and will collect as the retailers deemed fit. .. means whatever they gave he would get or if they did not give then also no problem of him (3) To motivate him I gave him incentives and he was explained the different slabs for higher incentives (4) He was motivated from the company people also and was enrolled on performance based incentives , which he failed to qualify consistently (5) If I have hired somebody to do the job then is it wrong for me to expect. (6) He has misguided my rest of the team and all have left because my parent company deals in very specific goods and for that knowledge and experience is required. (6) To settle the accounts i asked him to give resignation letter on which he is saying whats the appointment letter reference. (7) Have asked to come to office so that i can settle the account and can have his signature on full and final payment voucher but he is resisting. (8) Now he is threatening me of labour laws. Request your guidance as even I do not want to keep him anymore, plus I will not bow down to his threats, also he had joined only in October 2017 only.
