Address verification for Fresh Passport at DIB

Hello, I am residing in Barasat, North 24 Parganas, West Bengal. I have applied for Fresh Passport on 09.07.2018 and got an appointment at PSK,Eastern Byepass,Anandpur, Kolkata, West Bengal on 11.07.2018. I got a call for DIB on 17.07.2018 and went there on 18.08.2018 for address verification. I have submitted - My Residential Certificate by Councillor, Photocopy of - 2018 Voter List page containing my name(attested by Councillor), Aadhar, Voter, PAN, Ration Card - me and my parents. My Certificate of Birth, Class 10 Board Examination Admit Card(containing my D.O.B, in 2008), MSc Certificate(Passed on June,2015) as qualification. Recent Electricity Bill, Apartement Registration Stamp Paper(living since 2005, registered on Sept, 2008), reciept of Apartment tax. But after submitting all these he asked me "What does your father do?". I replied he does agriculture and used to live in village. He then asked me to submit "Dalils" of the properties(Must be recorded before my D.O.B - 19.08.1991) he owns in the village. I said he does not have one as it is a joint property and he has only parchas of jamin("Records of rights"). Then he said you have submit it. I asked what if I am not able to submit them unfortunately then the verifying DIB Officer said your passport verification will be cancelled unfortunately. Being a citizen of this country I felt this is an extreme embarrassment. What should I do?
