Rights and equality for sc caste

I have recently shifted to suburban area in mumbai four months back on rent, just after 1 week my neighbour came to know that we are not from upper caste of banya, jain or patel... Im from meghwal community which comes into sc caste called as hindu meghwal.....they asked asked us who are you?? Her daughter is studying law and her husband is social worker of bjp in area they ask me are u jain or banya knowing that we are not from upper caste or obc.... Asking us laughingly by all other neighbours also..... Before getting the flat i already told to my owner about my community status and caste... They didnt have any problem with it..... But she asked about the veg or non - veg i told her im pure veg from birth but our community do eat....... Infact in building there are two other residents who are pure non vegetarian as one is from OBC marathi and other is sindhi .... They dont have problem with them but they have problem with me as im from sc caste.......they tell boys to make noise below my window........ Using abusing words when ever i go at home or go outside..... The seniors and elders has also told to not get interact with us.............??? Tell me what to do if law profession is in such social worker families hand??
