Seeking help from harrasment received

Sir, My brother has been working in a reputed company in guwqhati. He had done a very major mistake by not depositing collection amount on regular basis. When year ending audit done, he found guilty and ask to clear all amount. But the amount is so high, as he argued with his company that , the amount they imposed to him was not actual. The company began to pressure on him by saying media, law and get signatures on a paper which is from legal advisor of his company. Company informed us by calling and we also agreed as they ask to settle the amount before going to law and media. They didnot interest to show us the proof of imposed amount. Now, every last moment they are increasing the amount where no proof of collection by my brother, they based on the verbal and mail communication from some 3rd party. Again we agreed and paid. But the day before yesterday, again they imposed 4lakhs , saying that there was some mistake in calculating (+/-) by them and so amount is occured. But before that we are giving they payment proof on whatsapp and they are giving replies by saying balance amount. Now how can they doing like this. We are in doubt on them also. Pls suggest in this ,as we are on big trouble.
