Drt case
My relative committed suicide due to financial losses suffered in a finance company owned by him. He had a housing loan, whose emis were duly paid by him till he lived. Bank asked for balance from his wife who didn't have any source of income, so she vacated the house n bank took symbolic possession of the house on which there was a loan of Rs 1.4 crores. There was a gaurantor of the loan n wife, son n mother of the deceased, against whom bank has filed a petition for recovery of the loan.
Now his wife (whose marriage lasted for nearly 3years ) has taken up a job n is bringing up the child, n her mother in law has also parted way from her. Wife didn't inherit any thing from his husband, as the financial condition itself lead to an extreme step that he is no more today. At the time of death there was a debit on her 2 credit cards, which were setteled after negotiation, which were paid by her father.
Since she has not inherited anything from her husband's property n is bringing up the child n supporting her self from her earnings, what worst can happen to her:
1. Can her pay be attached
2. Can she be arrested
3. Can her relatives (parents) be troubled
4. A Car which she had bought prior to her marriage be taken over
5. Gaurantor be asked to make good the loss to the bank, if property is auctioned, which was advertised n bank didn't get the bids.
6. Any other coercive action can be initiated against her.
