We are getting mentally harassed by the security persons ?

I am writing on the behalf of 100s of students residing the hostel of Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. I am writing this because of the inhuman act by the IIT Bombay's administration. The local security guards raids without any notice or permission letter between 2 to 6 a.m in the night with some arbitrary reason (illicit people may be illegally residing with the authenticated inmates). If this happens daily it is a mental harassment for many students who are sick and may and need deep sleep during post midnight. They have to get up in such odd time and answer their illogical questions which are asked in a forceful and abusive tone. Innocent people are not able to sleep due to this traumatic action by the administration. They are failing to maintain check and balance to illegal infiltration of illicit people at the main gate and unnecessarily disturbing the students life. It can severely hamper their work in the laboratories (such as fire accidents chemical laboratories) in the next day if they can't take proper sleep at night. Please suggest that if there is any law against such incidents, and if yes under which sections (please kindly mention). If necessary can we approach to the court if needed under such law ?
