Road accident related

My car had met with an accident to a stranded tempo in lane 1 of a national highway, the tempo driver had left the tempo unattended and was not in the scene, he had not kept any signs or triangle to warn other drivers. I had another tempo infront of me due to which my view was blocked, this tempo suddenly took a left to change lane and I could see only a stranded tempo which I hit into from rear. I couldn't take left to change lane because that would have caused more damage as there were bikes, autos and other vehicles carrying people . I tried to brake as much I could, but I hit the stranded tempo. Myself and my family suffered minor bruises and injuries. We approached the police for FIR fot Insurance purposes. I was granted a bail then, now the police has filed the chargesheet in court and I am expected to be present. My question to you is what can I expect from the courts now. I don't know the other party and I am not interested in continuing this case. What could be the possible outcome . What are the possible solutions here. Thanks
