Rights of 4th generation.
My Grand Father (1st Generation) had purchased a residential property at our native place, in Karnataka in the year 1915.He had expired in 1917 without executing any "WILL". My father was 4 years old at that time.
My father (2nd Generation) was having 4 sisters.2 nos. elder to him and 2 nos. younger to him.
The two elder sisters & the 1st younger sister of my father had expired before 1928 it self probably due to child marriage. Their children had also expired at the time of their birth itself.
The survived younger sister (married) of my father had expired at her 61st year of age in 1977.(One Son & One Daughter both married are alive).
My grand mother expired in 1966.My father has Four Childern (3rd Generation).We are 2 Brothers (both elders) and 2 Sisters (both younger).
My mother had expired in 1994 and My father had expired in 2012 without executing any "WILL".
I am the eldest male member (71 Years age) among we four and married.
I have got a daughter of 30 years of age and married.
My brother is 2nd male member (66 Years age) among we four and married.He has got a son of 36 years of age and married.
My 1st sister is 3rd member (62 Years age) among we four and is a spinster
My 2nd sister is 4th member(57 Years age) and married.
Till this date the property is not shared among ourselves.
My daughter and the son of my brother belongs to 4th generation from our Grand Father.
We desire to know how and in what Ratio/Proportion the property has to be shared among the heirs as per Hindu Law & Succession Act.
