Training vs Experience

Facts I had been working as management trainee (finance) in a central government PSU for 6 months and assigned duties and responsibilities, after that I was confirmed as Assistant Manager (finance). I appeared in an interview for another PSU but they objected my candidature on the basis that I have 6 month training. As per their advertisement - Qualification Required : CA/CMA/MBA Experience Required : Minimum Two years experience after the above mentioned Qualification (excluding training /internship/articleship) My reasons - Pay scale was same at both the time i.e. [deleted] - Duties and responsibilities assigned to me - Experience certificate states experience from joining to resignation (Not mention training anywhere) - Articlship is applicable to my case because  During CA course - Articleship is there  During CMA course – Training is there  During MBA Course – Internship is there Their Reasons  Offer letter mention I was Management Trainee  Exclusion clause of training in advertisement Please let me know whether my reasons are considerable to eligible for the post or not? I also want to know legal definition of the word “Training”. Please reply at the earliest.
