Credit Card transaction dispute
Hi,
I am holding a SBI credit card from last 2 years. Sometime back i did a transaction of Rs 1153/- at Reliance JIO store and due to some billing issue i had reverted the same transaction and obtained the VOID-SALE receipt. So now i have both SALE receipt and VOID-SALE receipt for the same transaction.
However my banker i.e. SBI cards has billed me for the same Rs 1153/- amount and i have also cleared that amount from my bill with the trust that the amount will be reverted in sometime. SBI didn't reverted the transaction and when i logged an complain with customer support for the same they asked me to wait for 120days and send them the receipts which i did. Now few days back SBI dropped an email to me saying that there investigation is completed and they found that i had made the transaction and i have to clear the due amount immediately. This is very surprising as a customer if i am using your card for any purchase and i want to revert that purchase my duty is to collect the VOID-SALE receipt which i have with me. If the money is not reverted back to the bank then that is there job to check with there partners/framework how this has happened where is the loop hole due to which transaction is not reverted even after Voiding the transaction, this is not the customer responsibility. Even Reliance store incharge spoke to his banker i.e. PineLabs in front me and he also said transaction is already reverted and also shared the store daily transaction settlement statement with me which clearly shows that the particular transaction is voided. So now i have Sale, Void-Sale, Store settlement statement of that date and even store manager will also confirm the same again.
I don't know what to do with this ? since last 3 months i have been following up with them but SBI is not ready to listen, this case has harassed me like anything & given so much mental tension to me i can't explain. Can you please advise how to proceed on this ?
