Safety Nets

Hello My Appartment association wants to put safety nets in common areas and few owners against of it as it doe not solve the issue completely and our concerns are listed below but will they want to go with it saying whoever opposes will need to declare the accountability for any future queries from anyone (including legal). May I please know what would be legal issues here and why would I own the accountability for some one negligence in not educating the safety to the kids and not following parents liabilities in protecting minor children? Can and I association still go ahead when bunch of owners opposing it and suggest alternatives? - Safety nets change the atmosphere of a homely environment to more commercial . I strongly believe that all of us here bought this property looking at the open space and it's unique structure. Nets will definitely spoil the look and feel. - Kids will start taking advantage of the nets and start throwing things and become more mischievous. Kids are kids they have their own ways to deal with everything. Safety should be started at home by teaching them until they listen and follow. - Maids start leaving garbage like how it was done last time. And it will not be a good sight for anyone to look at in the morning - Maintenance (cleaning) of the nets is practically not possible and cannot be done on a daily basis. Last time we have witnessed garbage bags thrown and lying over the nets for days together which is again a health hazard for everyone staying here. Informed house keeping many times to clean the nets those days , they simply reply it’s not accessible and we don’t have tools. - Raising the railings incurs extra cost, but when it comes to safety of our people in our community we shudnt be taking a back step and since it's Permanent solution we can pool in extra money or use corpus fund for raising railings height.
