How do I get my broker to mind his own business?

I'm a 23 year old male bachelor and I rent an apartment with my friend (also 23) in Mumbai. My girlfriend usually visits me and stays over for weekends. A few days ago, the broker who helped me get this place told me that someone had complained to the police regarding my girlfriend coming over, and apparently the police went to the broker instead of coming to me. He says that I've to make changes to my already existing agreement and make a new one with her name on it as well. Even after telling him that she doesn't live here, he insists that I make the document. Today, he told me that I have to pay him for the document that I will have to make and I'll also have to pay the police for he himself knows what reason. He says the total cost will be around 5000-6000 rs. I believe this is pure extortion. And since the agreement doesn't say anything that doesn't allow visitors at my place, I don't think there's need for any other documents as well. What should I do? Please help at the earliest.
