Reimbursement of paid indemnity bond
Respected sir,
I ,Amit kumar wish to state that, I had joined Andhra Bank on 20.10.2011 as a probationary officer and given notice for resignation to Andhra Bank in Feb 2012 in lieu of joining State Bank of India . And served only one month of notice thereafter I resigned the Andhra Bank in the month of March by paying bond money plus two months salary.
But before joining to Andhra Bank I had appeared for written exam for both of the banks . In the meantime I got joining letter from Andhra Bank . After got joined in Andhra Bank, state Bank of India written test result declared and got interview letter. I taken permission for appearing in the interview from Andhra Bank. As the result of interview came out of from state Bank of India ,I had given notice for resignation to Andhra Bank.
I had to pay Rs .75000/- as per bond plus two months gross salary to Andhra Bank.
I had got information from one of my colleague that if someone joined the PSU bank after resignation from PSU bank ,there need not to pay the bond amount as per central government rule.
Is it true? Can I get back my paid bond money from Andhra Bank ?
Bond condition was for 5 years services and three month notice .(in brief what I remembered)
Please guide me.
