Salary in lieu of Notice period

Sir, I have send mail to my employer informing him about my decision to resign and requested him to relieve me after serving 3 months notice period. But he replied back stating that my resignation has been accepted with immediate effect. Next day the HR informed me that I have to be relieved immediately and asked me to hand over my files and lap top which I did. I was also asked to get signature from all departments on exit form which I did and submitted. When I asked him for relieving letter and experience letter along with the 3 months notice salary and my other dues I was told that the relieving letter will be issued on next day as the concerned person having the format has left for the day. Next day when I contacted the HR I was told that the MD has told him that I am not liable for receipt of any notice period salary as I was asked to leave before serving the notice period and have also refusdd to issue the relieving letter to me. Sir , I would like to request to you to please advise what I should do in this mater.
