False claiming of road adjacent to our property

Hi, Our neighbor in Udupi,Karnataka has filed a false civil suit claiming(non existing) road adjacent to our property. We are in the process of constructing a new house(break down existing old house) and they have filed for Injunction stating the above false claim. There was a trespassing incident 5 years back against which we had filed a suit against all people involved including the above neighbor with the court granting us injunction, this case is in its final stages and the people defending could not come up with any single documentary evidence,where as we have provided all necessary documents.we positively expect the case to be in our favor. We see the new case as a tactics to trouble us since we are planning to construct a new house after demolishing existing old house.Can the court admit a new case when a older related case is pending for judgement. What are the options available to file defamation suit for harassing us with false suit and wasting ours and court time and also protecting us from future harassment.
