Compensation for termination without notice or prior information
Dear Lawyers,
I have been associated with an IT MNC Company of 55 employee size for the past 3 years, I have been promoted from a executive level to managerial level + salary hike of minimum 10% to maximum 30% in these 3 years.
Today I got a call from HR, he informed me that I have been terminated due to performance issue & asked to do the below:
1)Send resignation email from personal mail id ( My official id has been blocked )
2)Not to come to office
3)All the documents including experience letter will be sent by courier
4)Submit by ID card through someone else
5) I will be getting this Dec month pay alone
Kindly advise me on this. I have not been given any notice or prior information regarding the performance issue. I have been given promotion 7 months back only also awarded best performer awards. I dont know on what basis they have terminated me.
My official notice period is 2months if I put resignation but they are paying only this month salary. I have not dropped my resignation email & submitted my ID Card.
Kindly give your view on this & how to proceed with this. I need compensation & proper reason for my termination.
