Assocation denies my rights
I bought a flat in 2015 and is a registered member of the Residents association.Myself, being straight forward and keep questioning the Member committee for displaying appropriate monthly expense list for the maintenance amount that we are paying regularly. For this reason, the association has been ill treating me verbally in the social forum, say, WhatsApp group for the residents.
There was a meeting held with the Residents on 29th October 2017 while I have attended the same. The minutes of meeting was displayed on the noticed board in the apartments on 31st October 2017. I was out of station and requested for a soft copy which was an usual practice by the association. The association sent a couple of replies stating that no soft copies will be shared via email or whats app. And everyone needs to go to the notice board to see the minutes of meeting.
While my request being denied, when other owners asked for the same, the association further decided to share the minutes of meeting via email.
The unequal treatment by the association is highly disturbing me and being a woman I feel humiliated in public. Can this be handled legally?
