Property on Lake Bed
Hi,
My parents own a property of agricultural land (3/4 Acre) in outskirts of Bangalore in a village called Samnahalli, Anekal taluk. Its adjacent (very next property of Lake boundary) to lake bed. Its not under BBMP limits.
Recently, I came across know about the rule called as Buffer Zone and would like to know more about this rule. Lots of question as mentioned below going around and creating confusions. Please help.
How will I get to know, if my parents property falls under Buffer Zone? Who will be able to tell me or provide relevant records ?
What all can be done on the land and how all can it be used?
How can it be used in future. Can my parents build a house on small part of this land and run their leaving ?
What is the limitation on usage of this land? Currently it is still under green belt
Can this land be sold ?
Can this be transferred to their heirs (Children) and what would the limitation on improving the land by children.
Request for more info on this, so that my old parents can be consoled. Please suggest.
