Filing a case of theft and defamation

Hi, There was a girl who was my neighbour. We started dating and literally lived together. But her parents wanted her to marry another guy and set the wedding dates. We made a legal document saying she wants to run away from the wedding out of her free will and wanted to be with me. She asked me to come to her home town to pick her up. Her parents got to know and threatened to commit suicide if she went away. She forcefully got married and I came back to my city. After one month, she came to the house next door and packed everything including my things and left. I have spoken to her and her husband repeatedly and asked them to return my belongings. But they have refused to respond over the last 4 months. They have also insulted me in front of friends and family and on the phone for which I have proof in the form of messages and phone recordings. I want all my things back, I want everyone to know the truth about the games these people have played with me and I want a compensation for all the time and money I spent on her and repairs on her house. Now I want to file a case of theft, mental harassment and defamation. Is this the correct procedure?
